Lively and perfumed, this Oakville Cabernet puts on a show with its bright raspberry-cherry and spice aromatics. Round and full, layers of ample red berry fruit flavors flow across the palate, while toasted oak and spice notes add dimension. A hint of minerality lingers on the finish.
2018 Nickel & Nickel Kenefick Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon, Calistoga
Deep and texture-driven, this Calistoga Cabernet commands attention with its blackberry and floral perfume, dark fruit flavors and savory undertones. Ripe black cherry and blackberry front load the palate, while coating tannins and notes of tobacco, cocoa and spice unfold on the midpalate and continue into a finish layered with dark, sappy-silky fruit.
